"A highly expressive chardonnay from this outstanding vintage. The aroma immediately makes a statement with its intense notes of struck match, lemon curd and a subtle savoury character. The palate has plenty of punch. The fruit was handpicked, whole bunch pressed to new and one-year-old French oak. There is a driving intensity about the palate which extends easily to a very long savoury finish.
