Description This silky, suave, Italian charmer makes a big impression. It's from the hills of Bardolino Classico, which overlook the town of the same name on Lake Garda and form one of the prettiest wine vistas imaginable. It’s crafted by gifted Daniele Accordini at Cantina di Negrar, awarded Best Italian Cooperative three times! Daniele selected grapes from the Classico's ancient soils, fermenting them to bring out their freshness and fruit. The blend is the same as for the region’s famously rich Amarone wines, although Roccoloro lies at the opposite end of the style spectrum – juicy, light, with fresh red fruits. This wine has redcurrant and ripe cherry flavours with a soft, rounded character and goes exceptionally well with fresh zucchini risotto or ravioli with sage butter. Locally, they often serve it cool with fish.
