Description This Shiraz boasts a long history of excellence, a rich haul of international medals including having been crowned ‘International Champion’ at the 20th annual VINUS International Wine & Spirits Competition. Bill Taylor, grandfather of the current custodian, Mitchell, first set foot on the estate on the same day that Neil Armstrong first set foot on the moon, in 1969. Three generations later, Taylors has a worldwide reputation for excellence. In fact, Taylors has been rated the ‘No. 1 Winery in the World’, out of over 50,000 producers, by the prestigious World Association of Wine Writers and Journalists. The palate of this 2023 is lavish, with balanced, luscious fruit, spice and oak, with Clare’s trademark blueberry flavours.
The Clare Valley is a popular wine region, home to about 50 wineries and renowned for its cool climate wines, notably Riesling.
