Description Established in 1972, Mountadam High Eden Estate is one of Australia’s oldest cool climate Chardonnay vineyards. Situated on a unique rocky outcrop the estate commands an easterly aspect 500 to 550m high over the Eden Valley. On release the wine is pale straw in colour. It displays classic Chardonnay characters of peach, nectarine and fresh figs. French oak barrel fermentation and maturation gives the wine secondary aromas of cashew nuts and mixed spices. This 2021 has been rated 94pts by the Halliday tea, awarded a special value star and praised for its "crystalline acid line providing clarity and drive and a long finish with excellent length of flavour."
