Description 10 years old and although showing some intriguing aged character the fruit in this is remarkably vibrant still. Aromas are still lively and creamy with citrus, stone fruit and almond flavours, and those, plus notes of tangerine, flow through to the palate, which is luxuriously weighty and well rounded. It's buttery yet a bright acidity keeps it fresh through to a lengthy finish with a hint of grapefruit pith. A remarkable value Chardonnay not only from New Zealand's premium Hawke's Bay region, but vineyards very close to some of the region's finest estates.
