Description “Sweetly fruited and beautifully perfumed, the bouquet shows ripe plum, mulberry, warm spice and hazelnut characters with a lovely floral overtone. It's succulent and flavoursome on the palate, displaying wonderful fruit purity backed by spicy undertones, finishing long and pleasingly dry. .” Sam Kim, Wine Orbit. A Hunter Valley classic Shiraz to be enjoyed (intensely) either now or over the next 6 or 7 years.
The Hunter Valley is a region of New South Wales, Australia, extending from approximately 120 km (75 mi) to 310 km (193 mi) north of Sydney. The Hunter Valley is one of Australia’s best known wine regions, playing a pivotal role in the history of Australian wine and is one of the first wine regions planted all the way back in the early 19th century. Flanked by mountains to the west and north the Hunter Valley acts as a funnel, pulling cool ocean breezes into the area.
