Description Greg Follett has crafted an elite ‘Barrel Select’ version of the original Chapel Road. Single vineyard old-vine Cabernet Sauvignon is matured in a combination of French and American oak barriques for 20 months. Only the 10 best barrels are personally selected by Greg and assembled into the final blend. It is then bottled unfined and unfiltered, allowing the old-vine fruit full expression. The result is a full-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon of unsurpassed structure, freshness and intensity. Alluring notes of eucalypt, vanilla, mocha and cedar are met by a long rich palate of ripe blackcurrant, blackberry, plum and dark chocolate. Lake Breeze museum releases regularly win trophies, a testament to the longevity of their wines. The Chapel Road ‘Barrel Select’ is drinking beautiful now and will also reward careful cellaring for the next 10 to 15 years.
