Description “Good value Pinot from Tassie here” (WinePilot) with two 92pt scores. From an excellent family-owned and run Tasmanian estate. Holm Oak takes its name from its grove of oak trees, planted around the beginning of the 20th century. It’s a 5-star rated estate and a true family affair, with winemaker Rebecca Duffy bringing extensive winemaking experience from sites in Australia and California, and husband Tim, a viticultural agronomist. They like their Pinot here, even the family’s pet pig is called Pinot. Dave Brooks from The Halliday Wine Companion also likes it “I like this style of pinot. Built for drinkin' not thinkin' and one which will take a chill in the fridge should the mercury dictate such an action. Red apple, redcurrant, raspberry and red cherry with an expression of orange peel oil... 92pts" Ken Gargett WinePilot agrees: “Good value Pinot from Tassie here... with good length, bright acidity and focus. 92pts"
