Description Founded in 1963, Zuccardi is the most highly awarded winery in Argentina. It was originally set up to illustrate a new method of irrigation that founder Alberto Zuccardi had invented. Today it is one of Argentina’s most awarded. It’s run by the second and third generations – José Alberto Zuccardi, given a Lifetime Achievement Award for his pioneering work, and his son Sebastián, named Decanter’s Top Winemaker of South America. “Zuccardi keeps going from strength to strength with their top-level wines” (Wine Advocate), while Master of Wine Tim Atkin declared, “Zuccardi has been a guiding light of quality.” Finca Beltran is a new release for them – a blend of dark, spicy Shiraz and smooth, plummy Malbec – smooth and easy to drink.
