Description Common Ground is a label used from time to time by Sam Brand of Brand & Sons for special projects and/or collaborations with different growers and other wineries. The Brand family have always felt intrinsically linked to the the Coonawarra Terra Rossa, and Sam uses this label in an effort to acknowledge the unique partnership of the land and those who work on it – and the balance necessary to keep the land in good health. This Pinot Gris from the Limestone Coast, in particular from vineyards in Wrattonbully, has a zesty bouquet of fresh pear, citrus and honeydew. Palate shows luscious pear, citrus and balanced by just a touch of honey-like richness, is complimented by a wonderful flinty crisp finish.
