Description We're always on the lookout for new high-quality Prosecco to slake the thirst of our enthusiastic Prosecco lovers. So, we were delighted when an old friend put us in contact with the Tombacco family. The estate was founded a century ago by Battista Tombacco, grandfather of current owners Cristian and Andrea. This Spumante is crafted from their estate-grown Glera grapes, gently pressed prior to a slow fermentation. Cristian then left the wine on its lees for 20 days for extra layers of creamy complexity to balance the citrus notes, before adding the sparkle. Enjoy tangy-fresh apple, lemon and tropical fruit and zesty citrus, carried on a wave of bubbles. Serve well chilled as an aperitif any time, at a celebration or with light dishes.
