Today, fifth-generation Victoria and Richard Angove run the business, while Sophie Angove oversees viticulture, at the cellar that Dr William Angove started in 1886 near Adelaide (by making award winning brandy – a product they’re still famous for). The new generation continue to pioneer modern styles of wine with a focus on sustainability. Having long since moved away from the weighty, golden, heavily oaked Chardonnays of last century, this beauty embraces bright stone fruit, shot through by lemony brilliance.
