Description The Adaptaur is a tropically-adapted Bos taurus beef cattle breed which was developed in Australia in the 1950s from crosses between Herefords and Shorthorns. Like the bull, the Adaptaur Reserve Shiraz is the perfect example of careful selection, hailing from selected vineyards in Australia’s premium Barossa Valley. The result is a wine that has generosity of dark fruit flavour – rich plum and spice with well-balanced tannins. An obvious food wine that would do well with beef casseroles or a juicy steak.
