To honour this significant milestone, The Australian has collaborated with some of the Barossa’s best winemakers to release a first-of-its-kind 60th Anniversary Issue Barossa Shiraz.Only 1,000 cases of this history making limited edition Shiraz will be released. Each bottle is individually numbered and features one-of-six personality-packed labels depicting many of the Prime Ministers of the past six decades – illustrated by The Australian’s Editorial Cartoonist Johannes Leak. The winemakers behind our exceptional Anniversary Issue Shiraz turned to Barossa growers from both hill and valley.
