The Sauvignon grapes for this wine were grown on the free draining stony loam soils of the Hope Plains, at Brightwater's nearby Sturkenboom and Chisnall vineyards, in sunny Nelson – at the top of New Zealand's South Island.
Split Rock Sauvignon is as vibrant as they come, packed full of tropical fruit and citrus. It’s from the pioneering Seifried family estate, who set up in the super-sunny coastal region of Nelson in 1973 (way before most of Marlborough next door).
This Marlborough classic is absolutely delicious! Think 100% fruit and freshness – all guava, passionfruit, and lime. That’s down to top-quality fruit and picking at just the right time. A fabulously moreish white.
From Marlborough, this is a brilliantly fresh, frequently Gold medal-winning tropical fruit white. It’s from a superb family cellar too, which takes utmost care with every wine. Enjoy its grassy aromas and exuberant fruit.
