"From a single vineyard in the Plenty region in Victoria, this is the second release of this wine. It is one of the better examples of this variety on offer in this country.” Ken Garrett, Wine Pilot. Ray Jordan gives it 93pts calling it "A most attractive wine. Shows the versatility of this Italian variety, as it can produce excellent Rosé as in this range, and the more typical lighter dry red of which this is a super example. Dry savoury and leafy notes with a distinctive cherry and light strawberry nuance. The oak is all used and the tannins chalky and fine."
For John Lehmann in The Australian, it: "Opens with cherry and strawberry aromas with a hint of blackberry, cinnamon and turmeric. Lively, medium-bodied, with sweet fruit carried by fine chalky tannins to a fresh finish. Gourmet pizza please!"
