Description Langhorne Creek is a region with plenty of sun but with an Antarctic breeze rising from up and over the Great Southern Ocean and Lake Alexandrina that cools the vineyards. This is the Lake Doctor. It adds freshness to the rich Shiraz for this perennially popular drop. "…this region continues to produce delicious, ripe, rich reds, full of flavour. And they are so often such wonderful value. Add another to the list. Purple colour with a vibrant rim. We have notes of chocolate, bacon fat, flesh, cloves, warm earth, dry herbs and black fruits. Good concentration and focus, fine acidity with nice balance is backed by ever-so-soft tannins though to a finish which lingers 93pts" (Ken Gargett, Wine Pilot).
