Description Cab Malbec blends are still relatively rare, though it's hard to see why. This is a beautifully plush red, with juicy blueberry-rich Malbec joining forces with dark, cassis-laden Cabernet for a thoroughly approachable wine delicious with food but not needing it, that always seems to get a thumbs up around any table or barbecue gathering. The label is fun too. It's named for Strout Road, the McLaren Vale address of the team behind this popular red. The Strout Road Vintners have heard and are very used to hearing a lot of trout jokes, and decided to acknowledge this with a label that proudly displays a trout. (You'll find a little 'S' placed just at the front).
