Description 94pt, Great Value Kangaroo Island Chardonnay with "Fermented in French oak (20% new) followed by a short maturation before bottling. Inviting and rich scents of nougat and lemon curd stuffed panettone, with a pulsing quartz-led mineral note. This is a step up from previous vintages, the fruit cleaner, and the resultant wine is better for it. Peach, lime zest, white nectarine and grapefruit lead, before a gentle thrum of saline saltiness ripples through the fruit as it reaches the shore's edge.
