The Real Review Wine Orbit

Description The name Risky Business is decidedly tongue-in-cheek because the partnership headed by Rob Quenby has neatly side-stepped any semblance of risk. The grapes come from vineyards in Great Southern and Margaret River in WA and King Valley in Victoria. Margaret River famously shines at producing Cabernet Sauvignon, in fact as one of the world’s most isolated and pure wine regions in the world, Margaret River has superb growing conditions for many varieties. This Cabernet is “A lovely expression of the variety” says Sam Kim, Wine Orbit. Enjoy flavours of cassis and blueberries, with a black forest cake sumptuous depth and intensity, and a hint of tobacco. “Lovely colour in the glass, youthful and bright. Complex aromas of bramble, dried herbs, blackberry, cedar and tobacco. The flavours are very pure and precise, all dark fruits, spice and creamy, cedary oak. The tannins deliver lovely shape and presence and the acidity has plenty of life. A really smart wine for the money. 90pts.” (Aaoron Brasher, The Real Review).
