Why Seismic? Well, Hawke’s Bay is the most earthquake prone region in NZ. Between 1845 to 2001 there have been 20 earthquakes at magnitude 6 or greater. Nicolas Culeme is a French winemaker with multiple vintages in both France and New Zealand, including working for famous Domaine Paul Mas in South of France. He settled permanently in New Zealand in 2017.
He makes this silky red, which boasts plenty of plum fruit flavours combined with a hint of spicy oak on the nose. The palate is delightfully smooth with bags of fresh, ripe red berry flavours.
