The Cat, Bats & Dawn showcases South Australian Durif (70%), grown by Chris Byrne from the Gum and Roses vineyard near Loxton, and is rounded out by Barossa Valley Grenache (20%) and Shiraz (10%). Durif is well suited to warmer climates and thrives in the warmth of the Riverland. Matured in seasoned French and American oak barrels for added spice and depth. Alluring aromas of blackberries and black pepper leap from your glass, while the palate carries cherries, dark fruits and hints of chocolate.
