Description "

The Médoc region is home to many of the greatest and most expensive names of Bordeaux. But wines from family-run châteaux with prized Cru Bourgeois status – like Château Les Trois Manoirs offer ‘best bang for your buck’. p>

Château Les Trois Manoirs is owned by Frédéric Cruchon, who took over the running of the vineyard from his grandfather in 2005. Over the years, his wines have scooped a wealth of impressive accolades and the 2014 was no exception.

This 2014 vintage boasts a Gold medal, a coveted Vinalies Prix d’Excellence Award, and excellent reviews from critics: “…smooth in texture and conveys plenty of depth on the cedar and tobacco-infused finish. This is worth seeking out” (The Wine Advocate).

Aged in barrel for 12 months before spending a further 10 years ageing in the cellars at the château, this is drinking at its graceful best. Decant and enjoy its elegant blackcurrants, leather and spice with beef or mushroom wellington, cheeses or a classic Sunday roast.
