Description Plantagenet, now owned by Tom and Jo Wisdom, with Mike Garland heading the winemaking team, is an impressive outfit that has been delivering wines of consistent quality from WA's remote great Southern for decades now. This fine Cabernet Sauvignon boasts delicious dark blackcurrant flavours with notes of tobacco leaf and cedar. Stuart Knox in The Real Review gives it a whopping 95pts loving its "punch black fruits... long and lingering. No rush to enjoy this wine. It has years ahead of it." True, but it's also drinking very nicely now, thank you.
