Description Picked from the oldest vines on Howard Vineyard's Adelaide Hills Mt Barker estate. The Cabernet was basket pressed and matured for 16 months in 60% new French oak. Only the best barrels were then selected for the Amos, Howard Vineyard's flagship Cabernet. Swirls of blackcurrant, mulberry and crème de cassis lift from the glass. Blackberries and black olives combine with hints of dark chocolate, freshly brewed coffee and leather to weave a refined flavour profile. Silky tannins lead to a long elegant finish.
