Description Cool climate Aussie Chardonnay is in vogue, and this single vineyard Tumbarumba from Jason Brown, owner of the highly successful Moppity Vineyards in Hilltops, is a prime example. It boasts a Gold and 94pts. John Lehmann in The Australian finds it delicious. "You just know a Tumurumba chardy will be well-bred, and the cool-climate calibre here doesn’t disappoint. The nose is almost prim, with green apple, nectarine and cashew notes, but the crisp acidity on the palate delivers poise and sophistication with grilled peach, pineapple and some nutty complexity." As Coppabella’s website tells us: “Sirius is the brightest star in the constellation; a fitting name for our flagship wine. The best of the vineyard’s fruit is reserved, usually coming from our prized block, Block 20 exclusively for Sirius.'
