"After a run of Australian Cabernet, this one landed and it is looking exceptional. Outstanding local knowledge, first-class viticulture and winemaking, and real passion in the glass. Deep crimson with a purple rim. Highly aromatic. Blackcurrant, cassis and ripe blueberries, then dark cherry, cedar and bay leaf. Medium to full. Concentrated Cabernet fruit on fine, structured tannin. Cassis and blackberry through the middle, savoury spice and quiet oak. Mint, tobacco and dark chocolate for that Coonawarra stamp.
