Description When Belgian entrepreneurs Christopher Heirwegh and Christel Weemaes moved to Barcelona over a decade ago, they had one simple dream: to grow, harvest and bottle the best cava in the world! Having achieved that, they’ve added a few more great sparklers to their range and now created the fabulous Hola Spritz in its striking bottle. The grapes may be Chardonnay and Macabeo, like a cava, but carefully blended with citrus fruits and steeped with local mountain herbs, it’s more reminiscent of famous Aperol, conveniently with the fizz already added. At 8.5% alc and with a lovely kick of orange, it’s a refreshing aperitivo por excelencia. Crisp, bright with classic bitter-sweetness, it’s ideal served with a twist of orange. Chill and sip away.
